What we value
Safety
Our volunteers are all background checked and approved by our staff. We utilize a check-in process for all kids on Sunday morning. Matching stickers will be given to you and your child. Upon pick-up, these stickers must match before a child is checked-out.
Fun
We have fun in our Kids Ministry! We believe that learning about God can be engaging and interactive. Our nursery, preschool, and elementary aged kids have tailored environments with stories, games, interactive worship, and more.
Relational
Kids are put in groups with other kids their same age to encourage interaction.
Nursery
Birth - 2 years old
Each Sunday, your children are loved and cared for by our amazing volunteers. Your little ones can enjoy play time while you experience uninterrupted worship. When you arrive to the building, use the check-in station to let us know your child is here. After getting the stickers for you and your child, you can drop off your child with one of our volunteers in the nursery.
Preschool
2 - 5 years old
Our preschool program teaches kids about God through stories, crafts, and games. We believe it is important for kids to begin learning about God's love and how He wants a relationship with them.
Elementary
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Every Sunday morning from 10:00am -11:30am our kiddos will have their own class where they will worship, play games, and hear a lesson that is taught by our Children's Minister or one of our Kid Squad volunteers. Kindergarten through 5th grade meet in the Ministry Activity Center.
What we teach
We love our kiddos and we want them to know how much Jesus loves them. We use Grow Kids as our curriculum to teach our kiddos about what God's Word says and what truths it has for their lives.
It's so important to have a strategy for what you'll teach kids. Without a strategy, we run the risk of missing important ideas, teaching only the topics that interest us most, and ultimately failing to give our kids a full and holistic view of God. The teaching strategy behind Grow Kids has been created, influenced, and written by hundreds (literally) of real children's pastors, in real kids ministries, from a diversity of church contexts, cultures, sizes, and denominations. Our goal is to help you help kids grow spiritually by teaching and discussing Scripture in developmentally appropriate ways.
