Bible Truths
There are many voices aimed at the ears of our children, but only one rings true and sustains throughout this life, and that voice comes from God alone. Second Timothy 3:16 reminds us that all scripture is valuable for teaching and training and continues to be relevant to the next generation. We will guide where the Bible leads.
Christ-centered Education
At the core of Sunday School is an applicable Christ-centered education. At Cornerstone, we understand that your child’s behavior, attitude, and faith will correlate with their time in the Word. We strive to provide a culture that drives students to the one true Provider, Protector, and only Good Teacher—Jesus.
A Fun, Safe Environment
We understand that fun is a natural byproduct of a safe and stable environment, and at CCC, we love having fun. Our kids eagerly participate in games, activities, and events that inspire and engage. Whether in the classroom or at our large outdoor playground, we're dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of our students.
Nursery
Birth - 2 years old
Each Sunday, your children are loved and cared for by our amazing volunteers. Your little ones can enjoy play time while you experience uninterrupted worship. When you arrive to the building, use the check-in station to let us know your child is here. After getting the stickers for you and your child, you can drop off your child with one of our volunteers in the nursery.
Preschool
2 - 5 years old
Our preschool program teaches children about God through stories, crafts, and games. We believe it is important for kids to begin learning about God's love and how He wants a relationship with them.
Elementary
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Every Sunday morning from 10:00am -11:30am, children will have their own class where they will worship, play games, and hear a lesson that is taught by our Next Generation Minister, Leif Mieras or by one of our Kid Squad volunteers. Kindergarten through 5th grade meet in the MAC (Ministry Activity Center).
What we Teach
Scripture is clear as to how Jesus feels about children. (Matthew 19:14)
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
At Cornerstone, we teach directly from the Bible, using clear and simple language, incorporating visuals and activities, and emphasizing the core message of God's love and forgiveness. We understand that focusing on key Biblical stories and foundational truths will lead to a deeper understanding of God's desire to know each of us personally. Our goal is to make the Bible's message accessible and engaging for young learners.
